Here’s a bit more about SAY

Smart Asana Yoga founder Madore discovered at a young age the healing and beneficial properties of yoga.  After years of a practicing chiropractic, she didn’t realize just how much yoga would literally help save her life and career, and how she would from her experience use and create a yoga system that benefits all.

With tenacity and a strong belief in possibility, Madore has created the SMART Asana System, or SAY, which is a marriage of chiropractic principles and yoga practice to gain the safest, most accessible yoga to all interested in obtaining real health benefits in their lives.

Madore aims to deliver this system to the millions of people looking for a safe and secure way to practice yoga.

With 36.7 million people practicing yoga, it’s well known in the fitness industry. Madore’s critical strategy proves that yoga’s and SAY’s success in the health industry is an untapped area for exploration.

SAY brings yoga to brand new paths to growth.

SAY offers people the chance to get a serious workout without stressing bones and joints, and completely aligns with the philosophy of total spine health found in chiropractic. SAY allows people to practice yoga safely, giving them ultimate freedom of movement that they might not have experienced in a very long time.

SAY’s unique approach differs from most other yoga approaches that focus on physical or environmental challenges. SAS offers a slower, yet powerful alternative to the latest trend in yoga practices.

SAY challenges these other systems as not focusing on alignment and good form, which can eventually hurt people and cause more physical harm than good.

SAY gives people a viable, straightforward option that comes without the heavy physical demands of other yoga systems. SAS tailors itself to one’s own level of fitness, so any shape, size or form can practice SAS successfully and achieve all the benefits of an advanced yoga practice. Madore’s dedicated hands-on instructors make it easy for people to feel comfortable and successful during a SAS yoga session, regardless of experience. SAY makes yoga possible for everyone.

Jaclyn Spoleti attended her first yoga class at ILYC in June of 2010 and she was instantly enchanted by the practice.  She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in June of 2013 and has been regularly teaching in the Central Jersey area ever since. She loves how yoga teachings can be applied to all different facets of life, not just to the physical practice on the mat.  She finds she taps into those teachings to aid her in her other career endeavors, which include instructing various group fitness classes as well as performing in a handful of children’s theatre productions.

Mike Savin completed his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Inner Light Yoga Center. “I found out during my last year at college that I had a herniated disc in my lower spine. I was 22 at the time, but folks still tell me that I’m too young to have back problems. However most of those people never would’ve known had I not told them, because I no longer live in pain or have any signs of bad posture. So whenever someone asks how I got over it I tell them the same thing. Yoga have me back my quality of life, and even if you feel like you’ve been broken to pieces remember that those pieces can be used to create something better than what they were. The practice of yoga had changed my life for the better, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. My goal now is to spread that same love and confidence, so that I may give others the same tools to help make something great from those pieces.”
